A magical place to visit at least once in a lifetime, symbolizing the ‘artistic vein’ of nature, which has inspired filmmakers and writers, and will inspire you too. In the northern part of the charming village of S’Archittu, on the coast of Cuglieri – an important center of Montiferru, a historical region of the upper Oristano area – extends a bright white cliff that encircles a lovely small beach, where an arch opens, created by the erosive action of atmospheric agents on the sedimentary limestone rocks, called ‘lunar’ for the reflections they generate. Originally a cave, today it is a natural monument, S'Archittu, perfectly ‘blended’ into a spectacular environment, completed by three mushroom-shaped islets, also smoothed by the patience of the waves. You will reach the cove directly from the tourist village with a walk along a paved path to the north of the houses.
